About a week ago, Chris was asked to bear his testimony in Primary. Every day he wanted to "practice" his testimony, so we would talk about what a testimony is, what he believes, and the things that are important to talk about in our testimonies. Well this morning he thought he hadn't had enough practice, so he decided to write out his testimony and he really did bring it up with him to the podium. John and I sat in the back and cheered him on, but we didn't help him at all even when he was struggling a little bit. I was so proud of him, he did a great job! It went something like this: "I'd like to bear my testimony, I know my church is true, (pause and look at picture), I know my family is true, (pause and look at picture), I know Joseph Smith and President Monson are true, (pause and look at picture), I know Jesus is my brother, (pause) and I know the Book of Mormon is true." He used the word "true" a lot, but that's the way Christopher says what he feels and I loved it. Here's a look at his testimony cheat sheet:
