On Halloween night we had our ward's trunk or treat in the culdesac right next to ours. It was so fun to see people in our ward all dressed up- I hardly recognized our bishop as a rough looking biker. We had a potluck (Mom made mummy hot dogs- so cute!) and then the kids went from trunk to trunk around the block. Dad did his best to embarrass us- what's new?- and everyone knew him by the end as the guy who wanted Almond Joys and Tootsie Rolls. Then we took a little walk to an amazing Halloween set up down the street from us (but not in the same ward.) It took 10 minutes to walk through the maze of spooky decorations! The kids loved it.
